Thank you to all who helped make our family fun night at the dogs so sucessful. €5,300 was raised for the school.

June clothes recyclings raised €170. Thank you to all who dropped off bags and all who helped on the morning.
Events
Catherine Fox's Retirement party was a great night, it was really well attended and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks to all who provided baking and helped in any way. We wish Catherine a happy and healthy retirement.

Greyhound Race Night Friday 13th June 2014
Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some but not in the case of St. Brigid's NS, Ballysax! The Parent Teacher Association organised a "Night at the Dogs" in Newbridge Greyhound Stadium. It was a really enjoyable night for all the family with face painting for the children and a chance to meet up and relax for the parents. One of the highlights of the night was "The Clash of the Terriers" - a race for some of the family dogs! An art competition based on Greyhound Racing had been run in school leading up to the night and the winners were announced at the stadium.
Thanks to everyone who supported the night in any way. Huge credit goes to a hard-working team of parents who ensured everything went seamlessl. An amazing €5,205 was raised for the school.
